| Original news is the soul of online news (ON) media, therefore the study of "the originality of online news"(OON) shows of great realistic significance. Study of OON is a fire-new task, of which basis is null. So the study of OON itself is somehow a kind of innovation. Persisting in combining investigation and theory, ON home and abroad and paper and online data, this author in this thesis trying to analyze the OON situation today from the viewpoint of cultural industry, hoping that it could show some inspiration in promoting the healthy development of ON and the whole cultural industry in China.In this thesis the author defines the notion of OON. The so-called original ON is the self-picked news released by ON media. The original news should be distinguished from unvarnished news and scoop. Self-picked news is the briefest and the clearest definition for it.This thesis sums up today's situation of OON. ON' contribution system consists of three: original news, news directly copied from other media, and news adapted from original ON. Therefore, from the viewpoint of OON, ON media can be sorted again into three types: ON media that produce news thoroughly depending on themselves; ON media giving equal attention to customizing wires (or copying news of other medias) and providing original news; ON media thoroughly depending on wires or medias' news. Although the appearance of online journalist and blog bring some hope for OON, at present OON still low. The task of gathering ON is mostly conducted by traditional media.This thesis analyzes the harm of lacking OON. Lacking originality endangers the survival of ON media, that is, without OON, ON media will have difficulty to bring up their own characteristics; and without OON, ON media's profit will abate, the whole groundwork of it will perhaps be destroyed. Lacking originality harms the authenticity and timeliness of ON, and even results in some lawsuit about netnews copyright. In a word, lacking originality reflects the immaturity of ON media, and without OON, ON media without originality will sooner or later die.This thesis discusses how to improve OON. To improve OON, government department must endue the ON media journalistic right to cover, while ON media themselves must actively settle the problems such as political and economic stress, and qualification of online journalists must be improved. For example, Chinese commerce web, without the journalistic right to cover, adopts some alternative methods to realize originality: such as by online interview or broadcasting great activities live. And it manages to cooperate with traditional news media, so as to sharing resources and pursuing mutual benefits. With regard to improving the qualification of online journalists, this thesis emphasizes that ON media should pay equal attention to inheriting traditional journalistic style in operation and mastering multimedia technology, taking strict precautions against "blatant man" in network era.In conclusion, the author of this thesis puts forward the relativity of OON. Andbased on the ancient verve theory, he proposes three bourns of OON, i.e. originalityon "bone", "flesh", and "soul". |
