Design And Implementation On Crime Analysis System

GONG'AN Bureau plays a very important role in today's social security. Its tasks include criminal, traffic and social security etc. It has been a key task to find useful information and the rules between them. Data warehouse is a subject-oriented, integrated, time-variant, non-volatile collection of data used in support of management decision-making processes. The technique of data warehouse will facilitate the further use of the data. It also enhances the ability of GONG'AN to protect social security.In this paper, through analyzing the crime rules, we design and develop the crime information system based on data warehouse technology.Within this system, the history crime data is organized with different subjects, and subject data models are also proposed. Based on these data models, we can analysis crime information and find some rules in crime factors using OLAP tools. These rules are very helpful for decision making. This system can also provide many kinds of layouts.Our contributions are: based on data warehouse technology, data model and data mining method are proposed in police field, which can be the scientific basis for crime management.
