In recent years, the transmission capacity of existing optical fiber network has been gradually filled with rapid growth of communications capacity. It is urgent to find an effective way to solve this problem. Optical code-division multiple-access (OCDMA) is receiving more and more attention because of its superior advantages, such as high security, soft capacity, asynchronous access, convenient network management and etc. It interests lots of researchers and develops rapidly. This dissertation is focus on some key technologies in OCDMA system. The details can be listed as follows:1. the introduction of the principle of OCDMA and advantages comparing with other multiple accesses2. the research work on OCDMA key technology-OCDMA addressing codes, analyses of several OCs, include Optical orthogonal codes(OOC), Prime Codes(PC) and two-dimensional combined address codes3. the research work on ASON protocols and GMPLS protocols, discussion the compatibility of OCDMA with these protocols4. the experimental research on OCDMA systems based on arrayed waveguide grating (AWG), proved the reflective OCDMA system with results of 155Mbit/s and 2.5Gbit/s transmission. |
