| The wireless local area network (WLAN) is the combination product of computer network and wireless communication technology in the 1990's, it provides the access to network via wireless channel. WLAN has the installation convenience, the mobility and the high speed etc, which has got widely deployed in many fields. With the rapid development of WLAN, higher requirement to the network security also be set. As the basic security measure, WLAN security protocol becomes one of the hot spots in current WLAN security research area.At present, there are many kinds of WLAN security standards, mainly includes WEP, 80211i and WAPI, and with the shortage of old standards was discovered constantly, the new WLAN security protocols with stronger safety will appear unceasingly too. These security protocols used different authentication methods and encryption algorithm. But the clients often support one kind of security standard only, which makes the clients unable to connect to the network for the reason of unmatched authentication standard.In view of The WLAN security problems above, this article first introduced the WLAN elementary knowledge and the main WLAN security standard presently, then the concept of WLAN integrated authentication platform which fuses these security protocols together was posed, the architecher and each constituent function of this platform was given too. Then introduced the related technology which needed by the realization of this platform. At last, an implement scheme of the WLAN integrated authentication platform under the Linux platform was given, and we have built a test environment in which the authentication platform had been tested successfully. |
