In the now days, with the developing of information technology and popularity of Internet, the Client/Server model can't acclimatize itself to requirements of the ears.So the Browser/Server model became main mainstream method of computer application, instead of the Client/Server model.The development way of present layer-an important layer of Browser/Server model is more unadvanced than the ways of others.So many problems happened, such as the present layer can't be divided from the business layer and the present layer isn't vivid.Firstly, the background, the signification of the article and the content of it are recited.Then the base principle of web, the process of HTML and DHTML, the mechanism of Microsoft .net transacts HTTP, the Specification of XML are introduced.In the follow,the traditional development ways of the present layer-CGI,Servlet,JSP/ASP are depicted, and the characteristic and the shortcoming of them are pointed to.To avoid of the shortcoming and disadvantage of the fore three development ways of B/S Present layer,a new development way of present layer which based on XML/HTTP are brought forward.The base theory of the new way is recount and advantages of it are pointed out.The construction course of the warning system of HangZhou Power Bureau which bases on the theory is introduced.By using the new way,the present layer is divided from the businessLayer, the software can be reuse and became expandable.Lastly, the summarize and prospect of the article are given.
