| In order to promote the education and the application of CAD/CAID (Computer Aided Design/ Computer Aided Industrial Design) software in our country, the currently commonly used CAD/CAID software were taken as the research object. It is aimed these software which were applied to the industrial design and the interrelated manufacturing to make an investigation and a functional comparison research.This study used an interview and a questionnaire survey as the research methods. The research results revealed that currently the most commonly used CAD/CAID software in the domestic industries on the product shape design are Pro/E, Alias, Rhino in turn, but are Alias, Pro/E, Rhino in turn most fit for the work. There are 3 factors effect the choose, which are industries, personal reason and function. At the same time, there isn't any CAD/CAID software can be superior to all others in every aspect of functional characteristics, and even replaces all other in the application of product shape design. |
