This paper analyzes the real-time database and PI real-time database in detail based on the SIS system in the plant. Then analyzes the principle and steps of SDT and PLOT algorithm, which are two kinds of the real time data compression methods, the improved algorithm are given based on it.These two algorithms and their improved algorithms are simulated in C# programming language, and verify these compression algorithms through simulate data .At the same time a fault diagnosis system based PI real-time database,which combines the LM neural network algorithm and self adapting BP algorithm,is developed.Though simulation and the testing by the correlation data of high-pressure,Verify that this system has high veracity in fault diagnosis.
