Audio Processing Circuit Design

As markets stand, the competition for Color TV, Audio is very fierce. Price competition can be the whole ballgame. Every year, an active demand for Color TV, audio , we need suck in vast quantities of Audio IC chips from abroad. If we can design Audio IC chips by ourselves, we will change the reliance on imports of Audio IC chips history, break down the monopoly of products abroad In this special field, promote competitive of national industry. The IC chip PMS1345 which we designed in this paper will apply on color TV, Family Audio, car Audio.With the development of science and technology, integrated circuit improves quickly, which also demands a better performance. . The design of integrated circuits includes circuit design, layout design, project of process and assembling, etc. This paper design an audio processor through circuit designing, simulation, layout designing, chip testing. PMS1345 is an I2C bus controlled audio processing IC chip. This paper mainly presents the design of audio processing integrated circuit contributed to several functions for audio signal processing such as surround effect, input channel selection, signal attenuation, tone adjustment, volume control and reference voltage generation. Based on the design of audio processing chip which is controlled by I2C bus, this paper emphasizes on the study of internal circuit modules, such as mirror current circuit, phase shift circuit, switch circuit, band gap norm circuit, output current limiting protect circuit, track choices circuit, signal attenuation circuit, volume control circuit. Based on the main IC devices, this paper had designed the layout, like resistance, capacitor, bipolar transistor and BiCMOS. Besides, the basic principle of I2C bus is also described in the paper. The operating voltage of PMS1345 is 9V, and it is stable and precisely controlled with highly compatibility.
