Public key cryptosystem is an important branch of cryptology, and both its security analysis and development is always very active subject in cryptanalysis. On one side, with the development of integrated circuit and smart card, it is more important to take the implementations into consideration, rather than just study the mathematical structure in algorithms. Usually most modern cryptographic devices are made by specialized hardware, software and firmware, such as ASIC, FPGA, DSP and smart cards, etc. These devices may leak some key information in the executing process of cryptographic chips, such as execution time, power consumption, electromagnetic radiation and fault information. The adversary could impose such information to attack the cryptosystem. This is so called side channel attack, which has drawn much attention all the world and become one of the focuses in the field of cryptanalysis, due to its exceptional attack effect and wide usage. On the other side, with the development of cryptology, public key cryptosystem not only should have higher security, faster speed of encryption/decryption, signature/verification and key generation, but also could apply in the field with limited computation, memory and power consumption.
