Transmit diversity is a new technique of transmit diversity in wireless communication domain, which can resist decline effectively. If the base station with smart antenna introduces the technique, the design complexity of the mobile terminal will be reduced greatly. TD-SCDMA is the third generation mobile communication system introduced by ourselves, which can well satisfy the demand of high speed transmission and diversification service in the future because of its advanced techniques. This paper presents the STBC based on transmit diversity firstly, and then makes a deep research on the simply transmit diversity of Alamouti, Orthogonal-STBC, quasi-orthogonal-STBC and differential-STBC, followed by the analyses of the simulation results. With this study, this article puts forward to introduce the STBC in TD-SCDMA system by coding the data domain in the burst data with the STBC technique and transmitting it with two antennas or two smart antennas. Taking the coding rule into consideration, we redesign and simplify the JD algorithm, which is then as simply as the original one. Anyhow in view of these simulation results, the method is able to resist decline with less complexity of the system and lower BER and due to this, it is has academic and applied value.
