Research And Design On Accounting Strategy In Service Selection Gateway

On the demand that service should be diversified and individualized to customers, Service Selection Gateway emerges as the times requires. Accounting module is one of the key modules. With the increasing network resource users, different demands to the quality of network service and application requirements emerge. Unfortunately the available network accounting strategy is too simple to differentiate the network services, which restricts the development of the Internet to a large extent.This paper comes from the project of SSG. It does research on the overall design of SSG, as well as analyses the traditional pricing strategy and accounting model and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of traditional accounting strategy. On basis of the foregoing research, this paper designs the accounting strategy which aims at the construction of the SSG, on the basis of flux, considers of QoS and the degree of network congestion. This paper also gives the conception model of the accounting, idiographic implementing scheme and relevant arithmetic. The experimental data indicates that the accounting strategy devised in this paper is not only exact, fair, reasonable, but also overcomes the disadvantages of traditional accounting strategy, improves the utilization of network, controls the network congestion to a certain extent.
