The purpose of this thesis is to study the control algorithm of an automatic photoelectrical tracking and aiming device.The automatic photoelectrical tracking and aiming device based on the interdisciplinary characteristic that involves optic, electronics, mechanics, communication technology and measurement. This thesis made the energy analysis of the device, and proposed the nonlinear relation of the kinetic energy to the elevation angle and cross angle of the pitch part, and derived the electromechanical dynamics differential equations of the device based on the Lagrange-Maxwell equations. Because the device which made up of elevation axle and cross axle can not tracking and aiming the target when the target through the bland area. This thesis given the solution that used two group photoelectrical tracking and aiming device to track and aim the target. This thesis used the selfadaptation PID control algorithm to solve the situation that the device can not keep its speed when it changed the tracking and aiming system. At last achieved the simulation results by the simulation software (MATLAB), and proved the correctness of the selfadaptation PID control algorithm.
