The Research And Implementation Of Workflow Based On XML

With the rapid development of computer technology and network, much work's implement is relying on the computer according to the regular rules more and more. Especially, it is important to carry out the automation or hemi-automation of business process. To achieve the goal, a new technology and useful way of workflow management system is provided. At present, it is new about the research and application of workflow technology yet in our country. Although many pursuers have been studying it, much crucial technology need to explore right alone. For example, the research about workflow modeling is very weak. So that enterprise will face much difficulty in order to put in practice a workflow management system.Under analyzing and researching the current evolution of workflow technology, the thesis introduce some research on workflow management system, such as essential concept, system architecture and trend. As for workflow modeling,we introduce the model's design process in detail, analyze some modeling methods including WPDL and Petri-net Their advantages and disadvantages in use also analyzed,on the basis of these, we introduce a pop markup language currently -XML and put forward a new modeling method based XML. We design and implement a graphic modeling software which is used to model the workflow processes. At the same time we design the workflow engine by module in the J2EE platform This will provide a convenient platform which enterprise put in practice a workflow management system.
