Workflow System Design And Implement Based On Struts

Nowadays with the globalization of the economic environment, enterprises are keen competition more and more. In order to increase work efficiency, deal with the core business focus, track the business how to transact, therefore, the workflow had been applied on lots of enterprise .In this thesis, the workflow is designed for making business Process executed by certain sequence, realizing business Process automatically, improving department automatically and flexibility each other, increasing work Process efficiency, tracking and managing the business how to transact, carrying out enterprise management aim. First, confirm the MVC design pattern implemented by the Struts framework. And then after a detail analysis of Workflow Management System (WFMS) specification and the WFMS workflow management model, based on the traditional DBMS, This paper proposed a whole design of the workflow engine based on the Struts which includes structural design, core class design and database design etc. Last, develop web application with JSP technology. Some repeated work must be resolved. One of the methods is self-definition Tag used in many item. So based on the Struts self-definition Tag, the design and development of workflow commit Tag is discussed in great detail. Application developer can use this Tag time after time to application systems thereby to implement information system with workflow character rapidly, which can markedly shorten the cycle of the development critical business applications.
