| Along with multimedia technology and the network technology development, the request of client to the multimedia and the network environment is also more and more high. So the Traditional sever based on C/S mode , including its bandwidth and itself, didn't satisfy the request of client,which become the bottleneck of multimedia system. Therefore, as one of the most perspective applications, the P2P(the Peer to Peer) multimedia system has become one of the hotspot of P2P research.For the sake of the cancellation bottleneck problem, a better method is to turn its service asunder, and every note of system can not only enjoy a service, but also provide the service―this is the strategy of the P2P. The emergence of P2P makes MOD(the Multimedia On Demand) possible in the wide network. All users act as both the consumers and the providers, which will eliminate the bottleneck of traditional MOD systems and remove the heavy task to provide multimedia resource.Each note of system can equally deliver and receive information based on P2P platform.The system can convert common multimedia into stream-media transporting over the net with JMF and RTP technology. And it resolve the problem of URL locating, broadcast and deliver of multimedia resources on the net combining JMF.This paper conducts in-depth research on several basic issues of P2P system, including how to design P2P overlay network, how to collect node information, how to select data sending node set, and how to schedule dynamic data set between data sending nodes to obtain minimum delay. The research and development of multimedia technology become one of most important aspects about information technology. So the system of MOD (Multimedia On Demand) is designed that mainly research a broadcast of native multimedia, network multimedia ,transmit and convert stream-medium technology over the net.The system realizes search mechanism by two-stage search algorithm which takes advantage of the capacity-topology and fileindex strategy. |
