Measurement Of Crack On Concret Structure Component Based On Digital Iamge

"Automatic Search and Measurement of Crack on Architecture Engineering Structure Component"is a project of Tianjin Social Fund for Development (SFD). It mainly studies on how to develop an automatic search and measurement system of crack on architecture engineering structure, to supply exact panoramic data for studies about project safety, which aims at sovling problems need to be solved urgently in Architecture field.The thesis studies crack on concrete structure in digital image processing way to get the width information of crack, and processing sequence images, which come from the crack instrument drive by the scanning machine, into a whole image. My work can be summarized as follows:(1)According to the characteristics of crack on concrete structure, I realize the width measurement algorithm. In this algorithm, the idea of auxiliary image is brought in to reduce data to be processed, reducing measurement time by one or two grades and improving precision.(2) I research on two methods of crack width calculating, one is through the center line and left-right edges, the other only through left-right edges, and make the latter as the method of this project.(3)I analyses some typical ways of image registration, and select twice template registration method according to the characteristics of crack on concrete structure, dissertate the theory and realization of twice template registration method.(4)In image blending, I firstly analyses the reason why crack appears after image mosaic, and then implement image blending smoothly.(5)As to image mosaic on images with small angle rotate(less than±5°), I get rotation angle by perform image registration twice, and correct image according to the rotation angle, then perform image mosaic in way of having no rotation.
