Rapid development of computer technology and network technology provides dependable guarantee for building high quality Enterprise Information Management System(EIMS). Dynamic Web technology has applied to EIMS, which raises work efficiency and reduces payout cost hugely.Postal Transport Information Management System has developed too much under the large need of network applications. Under the basis of databases, these units also had developed some applications. But those applications have some drawbacks, for example, they are basically running under the mode of C/S and the operation and maintain are not too convenient. With the development of enterprise application software, the enterprise application structure is from two-tier structure changed into muti-tier distributed structure. Adopting muti-tier distributed structure can raise the extensibility and adaptability of the enterprise application software. Building an muti-tier distributed architecture is the best way to develop enterprise information system .Introduces the concept and structure of J2EE framework which include four tier structures: client tier, web tier, business tier and enterprise information system tier and explains the relations among these four tiers.
