| With the development of wireless network widely used, the security problems dramatically appear nowadays. Different from the traditional network, the openness and mobility of wireless network leads to more security issues, and get more and more attention in the meanwhile. The Scheme of traditional firewall and IDS can not take effect very well to tackle the practical problems, this maybe the obstacle of technology and application in WLANThis paper is based on Wireless Local Area Network with wireless network intrinsic features, and analyze user security access function in 802.11, then demonstrated authentication and WEP encryption mechanism, at the same time, depending on low level protocols can not protect user security efficiently.This paper proposed the integrated user authentication and access control scheme based on port access control standard IEEE 802. lx protocol framework. It adopted the combination of local authentication and remote authentication and integrated the authentication and access control module into wireless security gateway. In the meanwhile, put forward a scheme for integrating wireless access model. This paper put forward a logical rather than physical port to achieve user authentication and communication. It gives a specific definition of the logical port and handling, and the logical port management module designed to take its control functions. At last, it achieved user authentication access control system on the foundation of scheme design, and constructing experiment platform combining RADIUS authentication server.In conclusion, security access module, user authentication and access control module integrated into Wireless Security Gateway in a wireless network environment, in conjunction with local and remote authentication have broad prospects and obviously in a practical sense. Simple and easily deployed to provide security products and high level of integration, is also supported by the industry direction. |
