The Research And Implementation Of Semantic Based Web Services Discovery

Web Services technology is the newest development of web technology. Its objective is to connect and communicate between different persons, different organizations and different companies, to provide an integrated interface to develop new service applications more rapidly with lower cost. To solve the lack of efficient discovery mechanism for web services,a semantic web technology based web services discovery approach is proposed. The foundation of this approach is the web services related ontology.This thesis researches on the construction of domain ontology, and proposes a domain ontology model. The model can represent the semantic by using abundant relationships between concepts, while it cannot be achieved in the model by using of keyword based representation. The proposed model also supports the web services discovery.This thesis proposes an approach to compute the similarity between semantic web services based on the specific features of web services. In the web services interface matching, a semantic based interface matching algorithm is proposed; for the nonfunctional information in web services, a Wordnet-based similarity algorithm is proposed; for the logic description, a logic matching algorithm is proposed. In addition, this thesis sets up an ontology base of services and a rules base of users'preferences and constrains about flight booking. This thesis explains how to integrate the services ontology, the preferences and constrains rules and the request information to select proper services by using an inference engine.This thesis implements several experiments based on these algorithms, and finish the comparison. Finally, the whole performance rank is conducted, to achieve the efficient web services discovery. The result proves that it is a new approach of discovering web services with intelligence.
