The Research On Components Integration Based On GeneXus Incremental Development Method

Incremental development can avoid effectively the disaster come with the software requirement change. GeneXus is a powerful incremental development tool, which can create a new system prototype automatically based on application's GeneXus Knowledge Base when requirements changed. But GeneXus is poor to develop rich Graphic User Interface (GUI), so it is hard to satisfy the requirement of Chinese enterprise applications.Using integrating method of GeneXus components and common development platform components can solve problem of GUI implemention of Chinese enterprise application, and the process integrating GeneXus components and common development platform componets also mentioned here. To solve GeneXus GUI implemention problem, following works completed:According to the reaserch result of GeneXus components interface specification, find out the theory and methods integrating GeneXus components and common platform components, including integrating GeneXus components under common visual development platform, and integrating common development platform components under GeneXus development environment. Based on this, the incremental development process formed using GeneXus components and common platform components to develop Chinese enterprise application.Integration method solved the problem of GeneXus implemention GUI of Chinese enterprise application. The incremental development process recommended here can apply the methods of components integration more clearly and effective.
