| By the developing of computer network,many kinds of embedded devices which are provided with low-price,small-size and special use are widely in use in internet,and it makes the internet more and more enormous. There is the trend of using the embedded processor in all kinds of individuation product. Comparing to the PC system,the embedded system has several characteristic:(1)In the embedded system,there is functions that including low power,small,strongly special use.(2)For the sake of improving speed of executing and system dependability , the software in embedded system commonly burn into memory chip or SCM,but not store in disk. (3)The hardware and software in embedded system must be high efficient designed.(4)It is requested high code quality to avoid crash. (5)It needs special develop tools and environment to develop embedded system.For more and more embedded devices widely using in internet,the problem that the shortage of IPv4 address become more serious. Now,this problem has been solved by appearing of IPv6,and there are several excellences such as QoS,high safety(IPSec is required)are special for IPv6. So that it is hot in researching network.Now in our country,in order to support IPv6 development,government start up a national static level project——China Next Generation Internet Project,The project that named vehicular information system based on IPv6 is an important part of it. In network application,the action of vehicular gateway is very important,it takes charge of changing the vehicular network data format into a common format that can be identified in internet,so that vehicular network can easily connect to internet.
