Research On Application For ERP System In MIND Company

Since the early 1980s, the global information technology has developed dramatically. Especially with the advent and popularity of the Internet, information technology has come to pervade every aspect of social economy, and as a result, informatization for enterprise is getting more and more important.For most enterprises, understanding ERP properly, analyzing the meet of enterprise seriously, confirming the function model of system and studying the implementation strategy of ERP is vital and necessary for the success of the final implementation of ERP. The implement of ERP system is a long and arduous work, which usually takes the development team and consultant several months and even several years to finish the project.Because a great deal of workflow regroupment are involved and the fee of purchasing software and implement to invest a system will reach more than tens of ten thousand and even ten million. Therefore, if the project cannot be finished on time according to the budget, it will be the substantive failure of the enterprise itself not only the project.This study is based on analysis about a real ERP system programming, the analysis of demand, the design of system and implementation, which the author got involved with and took charge of for MIND Corporation. The processes of ERP system implementation are provided for use for reference to medium and small-sized enterprises.During the process of the demand analysis in MIND corporation, we analyze the present situation and problems from the following four aspects: infrastructure management, plan & budget control, unreasonable storage structure and account receivable, and emphasis the expected effect of the software system. In the design of EAS system, we describe the general plan and the main problems to be solved, and make specific explanation on each function mode. The kernel processing method in the functional aspects of the financial software was then presented. Finally, many changes in MINT after system implementation are introduced. It is noted that the software, just as a method, plays an important role on condition that diary management, data mining and analyses could be strengthened.Software supplier only offers a software kernel to encapsulate operation standard and relational database. Plenty of workflow, user interfaces and report forms need to be redeveloped in this project. The development process is embedded into the implementation process, which is the real application facing the demand of enterprise.
