Natural Language Query Interfaces to Database is an important branch of Database research .This research is significant in both theory and practice. However, the methods to handle the Nature Language are still limited and dissatisfactory. To improve it, we propose some new ideas and new methods in this paper.The main contribution includes:1) A proposal of a new semantic-based method of word segmentation, that is, Regular Word Segmentation and Regular Word Segmenting Rules.2) A proposal of a new semantic analysis method of Object Semantic Analysis and the conceptions of Object Semantic Rule Expression and Object Semantic Tree.3) The design and implementation of the Interface for Database Query in Chinese (IDCQ). The system includes regular word segmentation subsystem and object semantic analysis subsystem.4) Two experimental information query systems based on the IDCQ that are Weather Information Query and Student Course Information. These query accuracy are 88.75% and 95.24%. These experimental Results show that the IDCQ system is characterized as the good variability and expansibility.5) The Train Schedule Information Query System run in mobile that is a practicability system based on the IDCQ. Its query accuracy is 96.70%. Through this system, we go deep into the business application of the IDCQ.
