With the rapid development of economic and technology, more and more sophisticated demands are brought out by people with the Security Precaution System. Recently, the high-speed development of the multimedia technique, embedded system, image coding and compressing technique, computer network and digital communication technique, the consolidation of network foundations in all kinds of enterprise made the research of the Security Precaution System gained a giant progress. After two stage development of analog video monitor system and half–digital monitor system based on PC or embedded system, The Security Precaution System are developing into its three generation with the primary Character of networking and digitalization. Generally, the third generation Security Precaution System should have these four characteristic: former-parts highly-integrated, all the signal should be digital processed, transmitted via network, and all the sub-system be integrated.Based on the construction of a Campus Security Precaution system, a comprehensive digital Security Precaution system and it's design and implementation are brought out in this thesis. This system can be functionally divided into these following sub-system: video monitor, voice inter-speak, alarming process, vehicle and stuff in and out control, device control, environmental parameters supervision and etc. Constitutionally, this system are consisted of two parts: the former server and remote clients , in the former server, all the local data such as images from cameras, voices, alarm signals, information from IC cards and...
