Student's information is massive and complex, the student superintendent feel the management more and more with complexity, forecast regarding student's condition and development more and more with difficulty, therefore the school hopes the student magnanimous data not only about the simple backup and the inquiry, but needs the student management information system to be able urgently to have the assistance decision-making ability, and the data mining technology is precisely solves this problem feasible and the effectively.This article studied the university student synthesized evaluation system to conduct the research, and proposed a kind of new student synthesized evaluation method with quantitative analysis and the qualitative analysis unified. And it uses the VB technology and SQL Server 2000, developed a new kind the university student synthesized evaluation system based on the thought of data warehouse, enable the student magnanimous data to obtain effective processing.Based on the synthesized evaluation system, it has realized the application of the OLAP (on-line analysis processing) of data warehouse and data mining the in the university students synthesized evaluation; Through to the data cube research, this article established the on-line analysis excavation model of students colligation synthesize and evaluation multi-dimensional cube, effectively instructs and assists the university student management decision-making and the employer selects talented person's decision-making.Now, PDSS is on pre-running and have got good effect. But, the research & design of the system is still in exploring, so the system needs incessant improving. And, the system also should include the realizing of Data Mining, which is what we should do next.
