| Considering the interconnecting and interoperating between devices of various vendors, we have to test each component in the complicated communication networks according to the protocol specifications. With the growing of complexity of communication protocols, specification based conformance testing is becoming part of software development cycle .At the same time, the highly expanding computer network results in great change of the structure of Internet. Routing protocols are mostly responsible for the correct operating and stable running of computer networks, so conformance testing of routing protocol becomes the focus of protocol engineering. Basic on making the study in documents and specifications of routing protocol OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) and recent various theory of protocol conformance testing, we make a new testing practice of routing protocol OSPF, and then make a whole protocol conformance testing system of routing protocol OSPF.The protocol conformance Testing system is mainly composed of two aspects: one is the generation of testing case, the other one is the establishment of system work frame。 The first one aspect mainly introduces the model of protocol description and how to generate the testing case from the model. And the other one aspect is principally shown in the result of implementation and validation the theory what the paper has presented, meanwhile, how to import the testing case into the testing system is the another important focus. |
