In the background of this, my paper designs the audio part of the digital meeting system.The audio part is essential in the digital meeting system, and also a important criterion to scale the capability of the system. This paper accomplishes the audio disposal, collection, transmission and revaluation section of the system. It also accomplish the control order's sent at the same time, establishes the main figure of the digital meeting system.This paper depicts the need for the meeting system of the modern society firstly, and then dominant production on society. It gives the development of the digital meeting system and the situation that it faces to. In succession, this paper analyses two techniques, they are filtering and sampling for the analog signal. Because of the serial structure, it makes an emulational experiment about the frequency of sampling, coding and its bit. With the technique of AGC(Auto Gain Control), the system solves the question about overflow when several persons are speaking at the same time. Then the paper introduces and expounds two parts of this system, the center control unit and user unit. Including its designing idea, working mode and instruments outside. After carrying out the hardware, the paper discuss the software design for this audio part of digital meeting system. It includes communication agreement between two units and their programs. At last, the experiment uses a signal source as the input of voice, achieves the transmission, gets good results.Digital meeting system is the need of the modern society, it gives a better method of communication. It offers a better voice quality, more flexible control, more convenient use, and it have a large market foreground.
