The Development Of Process Control Experiment System Based On PXI Bus

Distributed control system is widely used in the process control field, but there is not a uniform bus standard with data communication and its configuration software. Using PXI such a standard parallel bus interface to replace the non-standard process control data communication interface and using the software platform LabWindows/CVI designed to PXI bus modules and other virtual instrumentation to replace the different kinds of configuration software make communication interface and software platform integrated.It is brought forward a scheme of process control experiment system based on PXI bus after the deep research of PXI bus technique in this paper. This scheme acquires various signals of the THJ-2 process control system experiment device and transfers them to the up-controller to real-time control and display.The hardware and software design of the process control experiment system base on PXI bus is detailed in the paper. The system hardware is constituted of interface circuit design and function circuit design. Firstly, those expatiated in the paper are the approach of PXI bus interface design, PXI bus command and data transfers process, the chosing and realizing of PXI interface scheme, and the problem needed notice during the design. Secondly, the system function part is introduced in the article and the designing process of the system instrumentation driver and user interface soft is described in the paper. In the end this paper design some experiments which using the experiment system.Owing to the high performance of the PXI bus, the process control experiment system based on the PXI bus in this article gains a lot of improve on both real-time, stability, flexibility and the precision of the system. The friendly interface between human and machine provides the user with much more convenience.
