PC-Oriented Grid Resource Management Model

Grid is a new platform of network computing after World Wide Web. To provide computing power to be obtained everywhere for user is the finally aim of grid research. Heterogeneity and continuous changing is a distinct characteristic ofresource in grid, so it is very important to offer a simple and convenient use way and an effective management means to all kind of grid resource.Now there are several models on grid resource management, but most of them are designed for high performance resource. In fact, numerous idle resources are belonging to common user's personal computer, and common users are the prevalent consumers of grid resource. Because of these reasons, from the view of managing personal computer resource, the author proposed a PC-Oriented Grid Resource Management Model aim at the characteristic of common user's resource.
