Design And Implementation Of Remote Diagnosis System Of Medical Image

Based on the current state of undeveloped remote diagnosis of medical image in our country, the paper designs and implements a feasible remote diagnosis system of medical image to effectively solve the problems of remote diagnosis of medical image, integration of current hospital information systems, image share and so on.Remote diagnosis of medical image mainly refers to transmiting, viewing and processing medical image. So the paper detailedly describes the mechanism of remote tranmission of medical image and the way viewing and processing medical image.To the hospitals not having PACS(Picture Archiving and Communication System), the paper designs a distributed image database to effectively solve the medical images' digital store problem and a distributed archiving middleware responsible for storing medical images to distributed image database and getting medical images from it. To the hospitals having PACS, almost all the medical images are stored in the PAGS image database. So the paper designs a framework to integrate PACS. Meanwhile, the paper also designs a HIS(Hospital Information System) integration framework so as to abstract related information of inpatients from HIS. The design of system also adopts SOA(Service Oriented Architecture). Some functions of system are open to the authorized outer systems in the form of web service.At first, the paper describes the problems which the system needs to solve. Then the paper brings forward the general design of remote diagnosis system of medical image. Then on the basis of detailed description of the design and implementation of core components, the paper presents the whole implementation of system. At last, the paper makes a conclusion and brings forward the problems needed to solve in the future.The system has passed the expert appraisal organized by science and technology department of Jiangsu province in December 2005. And the system passed the test organized by Suzhou software testing center in February 2006. Now it is in the process of being a software product.
