With the popularization and rapidly development of World Wide Web, it's harder and harder to organize and to use the enormous information. At present, data resource, such as HTML web pages, still don't have very efficient storage and organization method, and be lack of ideal repeating method on design, as a result, the exploitation efficiency will be seriously reduced and it become harder to manage and organize the information of web site. So, this paper will seek and research on a new method to structurally design web pages based on Web page Virtual Description Model, the central work and fruits we gain goes to:①Aim at the actuality of low level of data and design repeating degree in data resource as HTML , we present a thinking of that Web resources will be organized in virtual way, and web pages will be designed structurally. Virtual Description Model has a character of separating content from structure. Extended Tag Tree reflects clear levels and structure of web pages, we can construct a virtual web page though constructing Extended Tag Tree. Therefore, many problems of web resources in storage and organization can be solved and the repeating degree of data and design will be improved.②Through Extending Virtual Description Model, VDM web pages can support modular design, and bring forward relevant extended semantic tag format grammar. Extending Virtual Description Model describes logic construction of modules by Extended Tag Tree, and describes operation Create, insert, update and delete of module by branch, graft, prune and disbranch in one growing cycle of Extended Tag Tree. This method can support share of module level design and share of thin granularity and it's very efficiency for web resources to solve data redundancy, coherency and dynamic updating problems.③Through Extending Virtual Description Model further, VDM web pages can also support structure control logic, and bring forward relevant extended semantic tag format grammar. This method controls structure of web pages by defining logic relationship description (Double-branches Tree, subtree forest and special subtree forest) between tag subtrees, and bring web page effect of recombine and extending, much easier design and maintenance.④The prototype experiments indicate that this new method to design web pages...
