DCS(Distributed control system) is a kind of modern control system which main features is decentralized control and centralized management. And it has become the core of process control system. The application of distributed control system has greatly improved the safety, economy, stability and reliability of the production process. Currently DCS products that has been put into operation on the market are as many as dozens of species, there is a difference between the products, and it lacks generality. The DCS configuration software of Engineers station is a set of DCS system as the bottom, the superstructure can simulate a variety of models of the DCS configuration environment. Users can select any type of DCS system configuration environment to achieve the configuration, compilation, download, operation and On-line monitoring of the control logic, thus to meet the demand of achieving multiple DCS training for operators to reduce investment costs and to improve economic efficiency. As the core of the DCS configuration software of the engineer station, research on the implementation of conversion logic in the virtual DCS configuration environment becomes very meaningful.This paper makes key research and analysis of conversion and operation of the configuration logic between different types of DCS system and the underlying system,which points to the key content of the transformation of the logic in the virtual DCS configuration environment.The software uses the Ovation system produced by Emerson process control limited company as the bottom layer,taking the simulation XDPS system configuration environment as an example,it introduced the conversion of two sets of DCS system by establishing converting database and related procedures of algorithm attribute information.And further introduced the binding,generation of software binaries and real-time data monitoring between the algorithms in configuration diagram and the real algorithms of the underlying Ovation system.Verification results show that the DCS configuration software of Engineers station can achieve the real simulation of different styles of configuration environment,which has reliability,flexibility,generality and economical efficiency.
