Research And Practice On MIS Of General Material Plant Of ChongGang Company

Fireproof Material Plant of ChongGang Company is a manufactual enterprise engaged in flame-proof material series production. In the recent years, thousands of funds have been invested to build up many production lines, the equipment level is at the top in the same trade of Southwest of China. The plant can manufacture more than 5 tons undefined structural flame-proof material needed by Steel Complex every year, the yearly sales income is more than 50 million Yuan. With the extension of the business and the enlargement of the scale of the enterprise, it becomes very necessary to master the operation information in time, analyze them quick and scientifically so as to make correct decision.The rapid development of the computer net, the wide application of the data base technology, and the maturating of the application of MRPII, MIS, ERP,DSS make it possible to establish a set of Decision Support System ( DSS) in Fireproof Material Plant. As the CEO of the Plant , the author hosted the project, and proposed a concrete, definite management theory, method, and implementation steps. The successful development of DSS of the Plant is a solid step forward to realize informationization in the enterprise thoroughly.The system realizes Decision Support in three main aspects. The first part is Cost Control and Analysis System, cost is an important factor affecting the competitive ability of the enterprise and is an important factor relating with the existence and development of the enterprise. The common financial cost system is an afterwards system that is a kind of statistic report made after a certain period (e.g. month report); but in the Cost Control and Analysis System, once there occurs cost consume, the data will enters into the system, the system will provide the state and regime of the cost to the decision makers and the relevant departments, in the same time, it provides many kinds of rapid analysis and comparison methods, so the state of the cost and reasons for the abnormal moving of the cost will be found immediately, and the aim of cost controlling can be reached. The second part is Operation Decision Support System, which establishes a series of mathematics models using the theories and methods of mathematics planning, regression analysis, market sales, statistics and industrial accounting, so the System can make scientific analysis and provide decision support on the operation managements such as...
