This paper attempts to expound the design procession and applied methods on the Web-Based education support platform.In fact, "the Web-Based education support platform", mentioned in the paper, is to integrate the separated and sole branch systems in different form and function to form an cooperative and high effective organized unite.As for the design of the platform, the paper, on the basis of the research and the probation on the present condition of the similar platforms, attempts to raise its common shortcomings and hence, make a theoretical research and technological probation on the education support platform. The paper also attempts to illustrate the cause of the platform in embryo, the design background, the design ideas, the design principles, the design procedures and its practical process, and to support the detailed design plans, among of them the branch system of teaching administrate is to design entirely.As for the application of the platform, having the fully preparation of the earlier research, including the completion of two items research on the development of web platform and a case of the digital campus construction project synchronizing with the research, the research are progressing smoothly and the construction has been completed and brought into service ultimately. To make further perfection and debug the platform, and to popularize the application of platform better, the paper attempts make a detailed illustration on the function and application of the platform.Currently, the platform in use has the function of teaching and office automation. With it the teachers can do office work while the students can teach themselves. Teachers and students can communicate with each other in different form and share information in the virtual space.
