Modern Information Technology promote education developing rapidly, which are represented by multi-media and network technology, make huge change on education environment and learning manner. At the same time, the requirement is getting bigger and the demand is increasing. Developers who focus on education technology must guarantee not only rich teaching resources, unbreakable data, but also the high available that could be running forever and the high expansibility when encountering education business change. Except that all, the developer must provide fine and rich User Experience.The development of traditional technologies can not meet the above requirements, so it is necessary that build education platform by Enterprise Technology. Compare with numerously popular web back-end languages, Java becomes the first choice on enterprise application development for its cross-platform, opensource, high performance (Servlet runs on multi-threading execution mode), and rich library.During fetching the master degree, I have developed two web applications based on Java language. The first project is a questionnaire module of Beijing excellent courses integrated platform, which uses Struts1.x as framework, apache + tomcat as application server, Oracle 10g as database, Solaris 10 as operating system, runs at Sun T5220 server. The second project is VOD platform of BJUT, which uses EJB3.0 + Struts1.x + jQuery as enterpriship association framework, glassfish as application server, Oracle 10g as database, Ubuntu 10.04 LTS as operating system, runs at Dell 2950 server. The paper almost contains discussion about JavaEE framework, user interface, server, data migration etc.The two platforms both have put into use, and they are very stable. The questionnaire module of Beijing excellent courses integrated platform was deployed into server on March 17, 2010. The VOD platform of BJUT was deployed into server on September 25, 2010. From September 25, 2010 to February 5, 2011, the total hits of VOD platform had accumulated to 94841. The two platforms both received appreciation from all the teachers and students of BJUT.
