| Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks (MANET) is a temporary self-organized and autonomous system composed of mobile nodes that are connected by multi-hop wireless links and serve as hosts and routers. Boom of real-time service in Internet and prevalence of MANET is bound to stimulate the technical progress in the interconnection of MANET and Internet. By interconnecting MANET with Internet, People anticipate widening the wireless application space and making worldwide network seamless. With the interconnection of MANET and Internet, the mobile node out of the range of the gateway can realize wireless communication with the gateway with the help of the intermediate nodes, as long as at least one mobile node is in the range of the gateway in MANET. So that it can realize interconnection with Internet.The MAGNET project has a very strong emphasis on user-centricity, personalization, adaptation, interoperability, personal networking and interconnecting heterogeneous networks. In the personal distributed environment, users interact with various companions, embedded, or invisible computers not only in their close vicinity but potentially anywhere. These systems are called Personal Networks (PNs). The core PAN is an essential component of the PN, which is consisted of personal devices in the close physical vicinity of a user including devices moving around with him or her.
