In wireless communication system, ISI and ICI are two factor of restraining communication capability and data speed. The method of overcoming ICI is equilibrium, and ISI can be restrained by using multi-user detection technology. But in most case, the ICI and ISI are exist in the same time, so for restraining them in the same time we must use space-time processing technology. For resolve this problem this paper mainly researched the CDMA mobile communication system space-time two dimension RAKE receiver and space-time multi-user diction technology. The main contributions of the dissertation are follows: fist we introduced the channel model of mobile communication and the CDMA signal model. Base of this, we analyzed the theory of space-time 2D RAKE receiver. And space time 2D RAKE receiver in the third generation mobile communication system is discussed. The multi-user detection algorithm is derived on the basis of minimal mean square rule and ML rule on both signal path condition and on condition of asynchronous multi-path. The relation of single user detection and space-time multi-user detection is also analyzed. Also a space time multi-user detection structure for both condition is proposed. The result of all algorithm simulation is given out.
