The RAKE receiving technology is one of the keys to the CDMA spreading spectrum communication systems. As the core parts which use several base-band correlators to individually process several signal multi-path components, it can distinguish multi-path from received signals, overcome multi-path fading and achieve improved communications reliability and performance.This paper deals with RAKE receiver applying for CDMA systems, analyzes the performance of conventional RAKE receiver. Based on them, a method of multipath interference cancellation is proposed, and comparison with conventional RAKE receiver is performed. Experimental results show that RAKE receiver performance can be improved using this method with simple structure and easy implementation. In addition, at the end of this paper, one of the space-time RAKE receiving techologies is researched. The simulation resolution shows that space-time RAKE receiver has the excellent performance in suppressing CCI and ISI interference, and also can promises a substantial growth of capacity, which must be widely used in the third generation mobile communications.
