This paper proposes an advanced process control method used to substitute for traditional method in the research for control system of heave soda steam calciner by using Fuzzy-Smith predict control.As an important branch of intelligence control, Fuzzy control has two characters, one is that it is independent of accurately mathematic model; the other is that it has preferable robust performance. On the other hand, heavy soda steam calciner is a system of big inertia, nonlinearity and slow time variation, and its accurately mathematic model can not be built easily, so Fuzzy-Smith control method, which can effectively enhance the heat efficiency and soda quality, is applied to control steam calciner.Advanced process control system, SIMATIC PCS7, together with its prominent properties, is employed in this system. The spot communication, based on PROFI BUS, makes it superior to traditional PID control, and the working procedure of heavy soda calciner has been reformed to meet the requirement of modern and automate manufacture.In the application simulation of Fuzzy-Smith control, the design approach of Fuzzy-Smith controller, together with temperature object, is introduced. The effect of changes of the parameter~ke, kec, ku on response curve is analyzed. Fuzzy-Smith control was compared with the traditional PID control and we examined the robust of fuzzy-Smith control by changing the pole and lag time. |
