The coordinated control system (CCS) of turbine-generator unit is a complicated multi-variable control system. With the development of modern control theory, more and more new control methods have been applied in process control practice. The strategy of intelligent control is studied in this paper and applied on unit coordinated control system, which is designed, ran and applied in MENDA Power Plant. It has important theoretical means and significant practical engineer value. 1. Based on mechanism model, low-degree nonlinear model of CCS is given and the simulation model of CCS is designed. The approach to get undefined parameter of dynamical simulation model is proposed. Meantime, load and pressure increment predictive model has been added and the increment predictive equation has been got. According to disturbing experiment, the validity of the dynamical simulation model and the accuracy of increment predictive model have been verified . 2. The intelligent control strategy and system scheme design on CCS have been discussed in this paper. The intelligent method based on performance feedback and parameter self-tuning controller based on rules have been proposed, which simplify the design of intelligent fuzzy control algorithm. In the process of the actual unit plant design, the ways of the actual system, the running picture and the switch principle have been given. 3. Smith predictive method to solve the delay problem of feed-coal machine has been discussed, which has excellent effect. In order to overcome the shortage of the old design, the design of the protected loop and interface channels have been discussed, which are benefit for the running safety and economy of the unit. 4. Combined with the practical engineer, the control strategy design and algorithm of CCS for INFI-90 have been realized and the main problems of engineering realization have been resolved. In the actual example, the methods of this paper have been verified, and the good quality of control system has been shown by running curves.
