With the gradual development of Java technology and the prevalent of B/S structure, MIS based on J2EE more and more mature, this thesis is just under this situation, combining Oracle database, regarding J2EE as guide, summarizing the developing experiences of the management information system of the scientific research of Beijing University of Chemical Technology and the project inquire and statistics system of Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Combining the latest web server technique and advanced idea of software development, the paper has explained the function and characteristic of the management information system.This paper has concentrated on solving some problems: Realization of the self-defining report, crossing the operation of the platform and the connection of database, security ensuring, integrating user's self definition, building the interface of database. The system on the foundation of realizing the aforesaid goal will be a highly flexible one, high usability, and high expanding system.
