In recent years, the development of power and electronic technology and the wide use of non-linear components have brought serious voltage and current distortion in electric network, which affect safe and stable work of the power system. Therefore, it is necessary to detect and analyze the harmonic components exactly. According to the articles published, the harmonic analysis of electronic power system is usually achieved via Fast Fourier Transform(FFT). Wavelet transform is widely used in harmonic analysis domain because of its good characteristic of time-frequency analysis. Fractional-harmonic analysis algorithm was intensively studied in this thesis. The study has focused on:Firstly, we analyzed the domestic and international research and existing problems of harmonic analysis and studied harmonic analysis algorithm based on Fourier transform. However, the calculated frequencies, amplitudes and phases can't meet the need of actual harmonic measurement because of the grid effect and energy leakage of FFT.
