The control technology has developed from classical control theory, modern control theory to intelligence control theory.Nowadays, the level of industrial automation has become an important symbol of modernization. At the same time, internal model control theory, which based on the Smith predictor control theory, develops quickly. Single variable IMC-PID theory has been applied to many big petrochemical factories. But employing the simple IMC method to solve multivariable nonlinear control problem haven't been researched in depth. For most of the chemical production lines are coupling, nonlinear and time delay systems, this article takes the familiar liquid level and temperature system as the research target. Setting simple and easy to use as the principle, I have developed the multivariable IMC software.Liquid level and temperature system is a typical nonlinear double variable object.
