With the development of power electronic technology, the power electronic equipments has a increasingly close relation with our work and daily life. No electronic equipment can work without a reliable power. Since 90's, the switching power supply has been used in all kinds of fields such as exchangers, communication, testing equipments, control equipments and so on. Nowadays, it is becoming more and more integrated, intelligent and green. The high integrated and powerful single-chip switching power supply will be the dominant trend in the development of the switching power supply.This thesis is divided into five chapters:The first chapter presents the history, classification, trend of the switching power supply's development, and several regular controlling methods of it. Based on the comparison between the different mode, it emphasizes the working principle and advantages of the current-mode switching power supply. Also, the researching meaning and content are mentioned in the end.The second chapter introduces the working principle of current-mode flyback switching power supply, the merits and drawbacks of peak value current-mode control method; the internal structure and working principal of TOPSwitch-II.The third chapter introduces a stable mathematical mode of current-mode flyback single output switching power supply system on the basis of the analysis of the switching power supply working intermittently. It provides the evidence to design, analyse, and calculate the stability and dynamic characteristic of the following circuit.The fourth chapter carries out the research on the design and realization of the current-mode flyback switching supply. It studies the characters of the single-chip integrated switching power supply from the theoretic and experimental aspects and introduces the designing way of current-mode flyback switching power supply. According to the given technologic parameter, it chooses the types of the main circuit chip, defines the structures and does the experiments.The fifth chapter presents the testing waveform, analyzes the generating principal of the output wave and gives some effective methods to reduce the ripple.At the end of the paper, a summary is made about the work.
