According to the demand of DC power and combined with present condition in the field, it is emphasized on studying how to develop a direct current power that chip controls intelligently isolated-gate bipolar transistor by using microcomputer as DC power controller in this paper. The device uses IPM which is development potential very much at present as switch component and microcomputer control device which takes hexadecimal chip 80C196 as core to design and equipped corresponding control software which is programmed by high-level language of PL/M. The software uses advanced digital PID control arithmetic and can adjust PID parameters for demand and thereby implement the intelligent control for equable charge process and floating charge process of storage battery.
