Benefiting from the development of network technology and mobile communication technology, application based on mobile computing devices becomes more and more popular. Personal Digital Assistants, mobile phones, etc are being used by business people to improve the way of doing business from where you are. Application data can be downloaded to mobile hand held devices from the office. This replica of data can be accessed and updated offline. It synchronizes with the master database from time to time when the connection is available. Therefore a novel technology mobile database emerges as the times requires. It has become a dynamic and exciting topic. In mobile computing environment, it is essential to held data on both the sides with the consistent state. Synchronization is used to achieve consistency. The synchronization and replication is also an essential technology of mobile database. Comparing trade distributed database environment, mobile computing environment has characteristics of high frequency disconnection, network condition diversity, network communications dissymmetry and so on. This paper is to propose an open synchronization framework based on Agent.It can availably economize network band , cut transfers delay , lighten netword burthen by using sufficiency network computing resource ,and access offline.Synchronization data traffic adoptes a standard common synchronization protocol-SyncML. We propose a conflict detection measure based on Version Id.It can be used on clients or servers.We also propose an security system based on a set of encrypt mechanism, such as AES,RSA and MD5.The research on this topic is very important both theoretically and practically.
