Research And Implementation Of Engine Of Flexible Workflow Management System

With the keen competition, modern enterprises have to adjust and optimize business process constantly to succeed in the market competition. Traditional workflow management system is not well enough to satisfy the requirements of the enterprise to manage its business processes. So, the concept of flexible workflow management system is proposed. The new workflow technique is hoped to solve primary problems appearing now. This thesis primarily concentrates on the engine of flexible workflow management system. The engine design is discussed, key techniques of the engine are investigated and the implementation of the engine is given.Firstly, the concepts related to workflow technique and functional structure and reference model of workflow management system are introduced.Recent research of workflow management system is reviewed. Secondly,the elementary concepts and research of flexible management system are discussed and the whole framework and key techniques of flexible workflow management system are presented. Thirdly, Based on study above, the engine of flexible workflow management system is designed.The function design and database design of the engine is given. The XPDL parse part and the control part of the engine are described in detail.Then,change process mechanism of business processes based on the edition substitution method is addressed.Finally,the engine of flexible workflow management is realized and is put in practice and plays a special role in the enterprise project.
