Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) has been used in more and more fields. The security about taking off and landing of UAV receives more and more people's attention. In order to study the flight characteristics and control rules in taking off and landing period better to promote flight safety of UAV in this stage, we started the study of take off and landing simulation system research of UAV based on a certain type of UAV. This system is very complex, involves system modeling and simulation, sensor, network, correspondence, computer animation, therefore this topic has only done one part of entire simulation system development. This article mainly contains three parts, first is the overall design of taking off and landing simulation system .The system overall construction and the function of each subsystem and the communication mode in system have been determined.Having the mathematical model of UAV in this stage is very important for design the taking off and landing simulation system. In the stage UAV has the unique dynamical characteristics different from that of flight. UAV is influenced by the forces from land besides the aerodynamic force. The strength pressed on the UAV is analyzed and a nonlinear modal of UAV in ground motion is established in this article.Flight simulations have been done in various stages of taking off and landing of UAV and in the condition that the ground and the wind power perturbation are exerted. Finally, the three-dimensional display system has been designed for show the flight state of UAV in taking off and landing stage. This display system can show the real time flying status parameter, the flight simulation curves, and the flight attitude using the three dimensional animation.
