As Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) has the advantages of low cost, no casualties, high maneuverability and can be used repeatedly, it is widely welcomed by militaries all over the world and has been developed rapidly in resent years. As the future development trend of UAV, Autonomous Control has been put on the agenda. Technology of autonomous landing is one of the key technologies of Autonomous Control of UAV. As the precondition of the recycling and repeat use of UAV, it becomes a key point in the development of UAV.This paper analyzes the development of UAV and expounds the research status of UAV at home and aboard. Then the demand of Autonomous Control in the development of UAV is educed. The concept of Autonomous Control and its application in UAV is introduced. The complex structure of Autonomous Control is analyzed from the perspective of large scale system theory and a hierarchical control structure and variable authority control structure are proposed. Then the research status of Autonomous Control of UAV at home and aboard is analyzed combining the research results of UAV in resent years. In view of the above findings, some of the key technologies of Autonomous Control of UAV are summarized. They are online situation perception, autonomous flight control, self-repairing flight control, intelligent fire control. From the perspective of technology and algorithm, ways to realize the key technologies are analyzed respectively.In the second part of this paper, one of the key technologies of Autonomous Control, technology of autonomous landing is researched. Based on the characteristics of autonomous landing of UAV, a control scheme is designed. Then a linear perturbation model of UAV is established, and the state equations are obtained. According to the method of internal and external loops, longitudinal landing control laws and lateral landing control laws are designed. To simulate the actual landing environment, the effect of ground and low altitude air perturbation is considered and comprehensive landing control laws are designed. At the end of this paper, the robustness of the landing control law is validated, which shows that the landing control system has high control accuracy and better robustness and it meets the demand of the design.This paper is based on plentiful references and the practical situation of the development of UAV in our country. The work should provide a useful reference to the development of UAV of our country.
