With the global market coming into being and the international competition becoming more and more drastic, As the main body of market, the chemical enterprises have to face the challenges which never came before. The constructs of CIPS whose core is information technology affords a new idea to the chemical enterprises. It utilize the technologies of computer science, communication, automation and others related to production and management, based on the integration of information from production and business process, all application of enterprise are integrated to improve the profit and the competition in the market. CIPS is the direction of chemical enterprises automation.In the paper, the present development situation of domestic and international flow industry CIPS, as well as the architecture of traditional flow industry CIPS are first analyzed by using the development of Shandong Hi-tech Chemical Group CIPS apply project as background. Combining information integrated present situation and the characteristic of Isopropyl Alcohol enterprise, a new architecture of integrated automation basing on the three layers of ERP/MES/PCS in process is brought forward.Next, according to the principle of CIPS, the automation control system for a 30000t/a Isopropyl Alcohol process was designed, the whole structure, function, design of software and hardware and implement of the system are introduced in detail. Because of complexity and large lag and non-linearity in distillation process, a fuzzy-expert control system is studied and realized. At the same time, the author developed OPC client programs and solved isolated automation problems.The system has put into running, and it has been checked and accepted. The successful application indicates that this system can advance the automation level of the whole production line greatly, reduce the invest cost, improve labor condition. The system has realized the share between the control information and the management information, this system developed the company's management model, strengthened the management measures and increased the management efficiency. It will accelerate the research of the CIPS of Isopropyl Alcohol enterprises. It will bring about obvious society efficiency and economic efficiency and has immense real significance.
